Shipping and Return Policy
In most cases, orders placed will be processed that day and shipped within 72 hours.
Orders will be shipped via FedEx Ground to Massachusetts addresses only, and should arrive between 1 and 7 business days.
By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order. Due to the changing of direct-shipping laws and regulations, the list of states that we ship to may change at any time. We will contact you by email if your order is negatively affected by new shipping regulations.
Please Note: All wine shipments require a signature for receipt. Signatures must be obtained by individuals over the age of 21 years. If this is not possible at a customer's home, The Wine List is happy to address your shipment(s) to a work address or to a neighbor who is home during normal delivery hours.
Please note that we also reserve the right to make a reasonable substitution for an unavailable product as long as the price is the same or lower than the product you requested, and you have not indicated otherwise.
Returns:
The Wine List, Inc. is committed to the 100% satisfaction of our customers, and we want to hear about any problems you may experience. Should any product be broken during shipping, please email our customer service department at info@the-wine-list.com, or call us toll free at (866) 977-VINO within 24 hours of receipt of the goods so we can pursue a claim with the shipping company. We ask that any broken product be returned in its original packaging. It is understood that if the broken product cannot be returned, we cannot provide a refund for damaged goods.
If the product you receive is not the product you ordered, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt of the goods so that we can resolve the issue in a timely fashion.
Please do not return goods without having received prior authorization from us. Shipping laws are very specific and we need to adhere to proper shipping procedures whether the wine is being sent from us or to us.
All products at The Wine List are stored in a temperature-controlled environment and are in excellent condition upon leaving our store. As is tradition in the wine trade, all bottles are purchased at the buyer's risk. Any return claim will be addressed on a per order basis, and under our discretion, may not be refundable. |
